Creative Voice
You fuck up your creative voice by trying to tailor it to achieve a specific outcome (i.e. success). If you value originality and authenticity, create for its own sake. With persistence and luck, your craft and career may converge. But don't hold out for it. Hedge against the temptation to compromise your integrity as an artist. Setup and reinforce the conditions that enable you to do your best work.
